The Solvid CamStrap Universal Head Camera mount turns almost any camera, camcorder, cell phone or action cam into a head camera as long as it has a 1/4 inch tripod thread and shoots video. If no tripod thread, most have a tripod adapter ( ie. action cams and Cell Phones). Using your own camera means the Solvid System is the most affordable head cam system, and depending on the camera, the highest video quality.
QUALITY -- The Solvid head cam mount is a Premium head strap alternative. The straps are made of high quality polyester material that will not stretch or deteriorate like elastic. Once its fitted correctly, the mount holds securely and comfortably even when adjusted loose. Elastic straps wear out quickly, stretch & require constant adjustment, allow extra camera movement, and are always constricting. Non-elastic materials will hold more weight, with more comfort for longer periods of time. The ball and socket mount allows cameras to be mounted in almost any position, including front and side of head. Many action cam users appreciate the option to mount their action cam on the side; this equals lower profile (camera sits lower than on forehead) and better angle for certain activities ( ie archery shooting).
